COVID-19 BUSINESS UPDATE

A Message to Our Shawnee Studios’ Family
- March 18, 2020

Shawnee Studios’ recognizes the need to implement procedures that will reduce the risk of exposure and potential spread of COVID-19.  Shawnee Studios’ will be open however we are not taking any open calls, walk ins or exercising workshops until further notice. We will be continuing to monitor the situation and make future adjustments/assessments as needed.

We are not closing our business at this time.  We will work with a small group of staff members only.

As of March 17th, the Illinois Governor’s School closing statement is for K-12 grades.  Some larger colleges and universities are extending the spring break period by a week to help put in place an action plan.

Effective immediately:

Shawnee Studios’ will not allow visitors to enter our facilities.  All admissions/new talent inquiries will be managed through our online communications.

The business will be conducting daily screening of all staff prior to entering.  If a staff member have the following symptoms, they need to stay home and will not be allowed to enter the building

Anyone having a cough, elevated temp, and/or flu like symptoms, been in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 or has been asked to self-quarantine needs to stay home.   A temp of 100.2 or higher is cause for concern.

Our business has been practicing extra facility sanitation in recent weeks and this will continue on a daily basis for the foreseeable future.

As of this posting the business has no one diagnosed with COVID-19.  If a staff member does test positive for the COVID-19, the institution will be closed immediately for the recommended 14-day quarantine period.

If you think you are experiencing Coronavirus symptoms, call your healthcare provider
